SPRING/SUMMER LOOKBOOK
Despite the name, the ‘Britishness’ of the Duchamp brand was evident from its founding. For example, the fabric is woven in a Suffolk-based company that dates back to the early 1700s and is one of the oldest companies still designing and weaving silk in the UK. Initially supplying the likes of Selfridges, Harrods, and Harvey, there are now two stores in London. Duchamp is also carried in the world’s most prestigious department stores, including Barneys and Bloomingdale's in the USA, Holt Renfrew in Canada and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong.
Although Duchamp now offers everything from trench coats to trousers, the core of the collection is occasion wear for men, with velvet tuxedos and evening dress shirts for events from big nights out to a day at the races to weddings.
I was brought in to retouch the photography for their Spring/Summer Lookbook. To make sure their fabrics and sartorial elegance looked as impeccable in print and on the web.
